“Katun Laništa” of the Bogavac family is located on the Bjelasica pass, on the border of Biogradska Gora. The hiking trail (Biogradsko Lake – Laništa – Bjelojevići – Mojkovac) passes through the katun. In the spring, roe deer and hinds take their newly born fawns to graze below the upper border of the forest, and above this katun. That is why shepherds named the katun – Lanište (after a fawn – lane). This rural household, which is primarily engaged in agriculture and livestock breeding, consists of a family house and several buildings (bungalows and cottages) for the accommodation of tourists. As part of the household, there is also an ethnic tasting room, as well as the facilities for housing animals, a garden and an orchard. The visitors to this rural household can participate in the usual farm jobs during their stay – working in the field and orchard, taking care of animals, etc.
