The “Običaji starina” rural household is located in the village of Bastahe, at 1200 m above the sea level in the gentle surroundings of Berane. The household is surrounded by beech forests and the slopes of Bjelasica, which descends towards Berane. The Pešić family is primarily engaged in agriculture and livestock breeding, and offers its guests local cuisine specialties made from ingredients they produce themselves. They also have several horses, so they gladly offer their guests tours to the nearby katuns. If you want to spend your holiday actively and get to know this area through various activities, the hosts will organize walking and cycling tours for you, and you can help them run the household.
