The Čukić rural household is located in the village of Trepča, nestled between the towns Berane and Andrijevica, at the foot of Mount Gradišnica. The location provides an excellent base for exploring the northeast of Montenegro, particularly the Prokletije National Park and the Komovi mountain range – among the most stunning natural destinations in the country. The property is naturally framed by water – bordered by the Trebačka River on one side, with the Lim River flowing nearby, creating a pleasant atmosphere for rest and outdoor living. The Čukić family is engaged in organic fruit production – the estate holds certification for organic cultivation, and seasonal fruits are available to guests directly from the orchard. The hosts offer homemade products prepared in the traditional way: juices, jams, fruit brandy rakija, as well as the chance to take part in seasonal fruit picking. Their home kitchen features local cuisine made from natural, locally sourced ingredients – including pies, kačamak (a traditional maize dish), cheese, kajmak, cured meats, and other regional delicacies. The Čukić rural household is an excellent base for excursions, walks through the surrounding villages and mountains, and for discovering the natural and cultural treasures of the Upper Polimlje region. The location is peaceful, yet well connected via the main road to Andrijevica, Berane, and onwards to Plav and the Prokletije mountains.
