On the territory of the Biogradska Gora National Park, 22 km away from Berane, there is the “Medna dolina” rural household. In addition to accommodation in the form of a cottage, the katun also offers a place for camping. As the name symbolizes, its primary activity is beekeeping, and they also engage in livestock breeding and agriculture. The hosts produce honey and other beekeeping products, as well as brandy, juices, dairy products and jams. Guests are invited to help them and learn about any of the household activities, preparing traditional meals and gathering forest fruits. The location of “Medna dolina” is really attractive. It is located on the spacious Šiška katun and there are three lakes in the immediate vicinity (Large and Small Šiško Lake and Urulovačko Lake). Walking in nature, riding a bicycle, going on a picnic, picking mountain flowers and herbs are just some of the activities you can do while staying in this rural household.
